Great for summer nights

I was dubious about this blanket when I ordered it because I've had several "cooling" products from pillows to cushions and all have been a let down. This Bedsure blanket is actually excellent - its not that it stays cool all night because anyone with a pulse is going to warm up a blanket that they are using it's impossible for any bedding to stay cold constantly, but it cools down quickly so there's always a cool spot to move into. It's thin but still thick enough to feel a weight on top of you if you need that to sleep. I ordered the king size and it still has enough fabric to drape over the sides of my king sized bed. I was really happy with the size overall as there's enough to cover two adults with some left over. It looks relatively clinical and won't win any beauty contests but it works for what you need it for and anything that helps you sleep in summer is a win. It's soft and silky to the touch too, very snuggly.

Superb cooling blanket

Bedsure Cooling Blanket for Night - Summer Blanket for Sleeping, Ice Breathable and Lightweight Gift for Hot Sleepers Night Sweats, Queen/King Size, Blue, 240x220cm Price at time of review: £47.59 I ordered this blanket as my wife & I suffer during hot summer nights. Living in a ground floor flat means we can’t fully open our bedroom window. We do like to have something cover us, but even a sheet gets too hot sometimes. Upon unboxing, I was pleased to find this does feel cool to the touch. Testing on a sunny spring day with an outside temperature of just 12° C, I was actually too cold under it. It does bode well for the summer. The blanket looks & feels good quality & resembles a really thin duvet. This queen size blanket works well on our super king bed as we don’t want much overhang.

Works well and is cool to the touch.

Arrived as described, as pictured, safe and sound. This blanket works quite well and seems well made – I ordered the queen size option. Firstly, this does a noticeable job at absorbing and or transferring heat – before I unpacked this I had it sitting boxed in our conservatory with it in direct sunlight with an ambient temperature of 25 degrees – I stuck my hand in the coiled up blanket and it was cold which was quite impressive. This will be ideal for the hot summer nights, sleeping on top of the duvet with only this on top of you. It’s a nicely made item, no loose threads or stitches etc. Highly recommended.

Lightweight and breathable blanket that helps impr

I used this cooling blanket over several nights during warmer weather to see how it performs in terms of comfort and temperature regulation. On first use, it feels soft, lightweight, and well made. The fabric has an immediate cool-to-the-touch feel, which is noticeable as soon as you put it on. The material is smooth, with neat stitching that gives it a good overall finish. It feels durable enough for regular use while still being light. In terms of size, it provides good coverage for a standard bed. On a larger bed, it still works but doesn’t fully cover the sides, so it may need adjusting or securing if you move around a lot. The cooling effect is noticeable but fairly subtle. It helps regulate temperature and feels more comfortable than a standard blanket in warm conditions, rather than providing a strong cooling sensation. Breathability is good, allowing air to circulate and helping prevent heat build-up during the night. This makes it more comfortable to sleep under when temperatures rise. It’s very lightweight, so it doesn’t trap heat in the same way as thicker bedding. It provides minimal warmth but works well for staying comfortable rather than keeping warm. In terms of comfort, it feels soft and easy to sleep under, without feeling heavy or restrictive. After several nights of use, it’s remained in good condition with no issues. Maintenance is simple, as it can be machine washed on a cold cycle and dries fairly quickly. In terms of value, it feels reasonable, especially if you’re looking for something to improve comfort during warmer nights or when travelling. The main limitation is that the cooling effect depends on the surrounding temperature and may feel quite subtle rather than dramatic. Overall, it’s a lightweight, breathable blanket that enhances comfort in warm conditions, particularly if you tend to sleep hot or want something better suited to summer use.

Its a cool, cool summer

I am a hot sleeper, but I am also someone that likes to sleep under something and during the summer months this can be problematic. I got the queen size blanket, despite only having a normal double bed so my other half can't moan that I have stolen it all during the night, ha ha. The blanket feels cool to the touch, a good start but was heavier than I expected so I was a little dubious. Having said that it is a blanket & not a sheet. The fabric is lovely & soft and as soon as I laid under it, I felt comfortable and did not find the blanket too weighty at all. It also feels well-made and the trim is well stitched. During the night I had quite a few hot flushes (I am a woman of a certain age) but the blanket allowed me to cool down quicker than normal whilst evenly distributing my perspiration, so not waking up in a cold sweat later in the night This blanket will really come into its own in the summer and I look forward to finally keeping cool throughout the night. Overall, I am very impressed an in my opinion is worth the price tag being asked

Huge size and genuinely cool to the touch

The queen size is absolutely massive, which is great if you like plenty of coverage or share the bed. The material feels instantly cool when you touch it and that sensation stays noticeable when you are lying under it. It works really well as a quilt for warmer nights because it gives that comfortable covered feeling without trapping heat or making you feel stuffy. A really nice option for anyone who sleeps warm or just wants something lighter and more breathable for summer.

Worth it's weight in gold!

As a woman who suffers from night sweats, thank you menopause! This blanket is amazing. It is cool to the touch even when you have had it over you for a while. It's a little heavier than I expected, but I love that because it makes me feel cozy, yet cool at the same time. It's an excellent quality blanket which feels luxurious and the Queen size one is very generous over my double bed!

Pretty good.

*** Bedsure Cooling Blanket for Night - Summer Blanket for Sleeping, Ice Breathable and Lightweight Gift for Hot Sleepers Night Sweats, Double/Twin Size, Grey, 150x200cm *** This is an incredibly lightweight blanket, which is a stark contrast to the weighted blanket I have been using for the past few years. With the warmer weather we have had this week though, it has been a welcome replacement for my bedtime situation. You can definitely feel the cooling properties and the lightness of this blanket, but it isn't some magical cure-all for warm weather and I still had to put my ceiling fan on. But the difference it still pretty night and day between this and my normal blanket for sleeping. I do run quite hot though. All in all, I am pretty happy with this, even though it wasn't quite as drastic of an effect as I had hoped.

Great alternative to a duvet or sheet. Cooling lik

TLDR? What I liked? :white_check_mark: Unusual idea :white_check_mark: Super soft :white_check_mark: Reasonably weighty :white_check_mark: Felt luxurious :white_check_mark: Genuinely very cool What could be better? :x: Larger sizes would be very welcomed :x: Wider colour options would be amazing I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this, but I've got used to sleeping under a thick fleece blanket as it is huge. But with the weather warming up and not quite being warm enough for a sheet I was looking for an option for those in-between months. (Which is most of the year in England!) When this arrived, it was neatly packaged in a plastic bag in a smallish box, perfect to keep it in immaculate condition until use. There were a few colour and size options at the time of ordering throw, twin or queen and all were offered in pale neutrals (grey, beige, white or pastel blue). I opted for the queen sized in blue. The larger blanket suits my personal and household needs and the blue is outside of my normal colour choices so it will stand out. While I would usually use the other colours for bedding choice I thought this would stand out in amongst them while not on the bed. My first impressions were it feels quite substantial, soft against my skin. This feels like a cotton / silk material and is apparently the 'just-right' patented material. Oddly it's mainly nylon, with some elastine. But it works! The cooling is unreal, it is noticeable the second you put it on you. When this arrived we were a poorly household, running fevers and this was a welcome comfort instead of running a noisy fan. What I would say though is this is like a cool pillow, feels wonderful, but even better if you flip it over as it does warm up if you are hot. The kids loved it too and usually they are sensitive to blankets and fabrics. There were no itchy bits, bad seams or irritating fabric to be seen. I haven't had to wash this yet, but even though it is filled like a slim duvet apparently the insides avoid clumping. The instructions say cool wash, cool tumble dryer but we don't have one of those so I'm going to hold off washing until it's a bit warmer and we can hang out to dry in the sunshine. I am pretty tall and generally built so I would have preferred a slightly larger size blanket, I also prefer bolder colours, but I appreciate the psychology of laying under a cool blue or white blanket is different to a bright orange or red. But other than that I can't fault this. It's comfortable and cooling and looks great.

It actually works

If you’re a "hot sleeper" who constantly flips to the cool side of the pillow, this blanket is a total life-changer. It’s made with specialized Arc-Chill cooling fabric that has a high Q-Max rating (basically a science-y way of saying it’s cold to the touch). Unlike a regular cotton sheet that eventually traps your body heat, this one pulls it away, feeling roughly 10°F cooler the moment you pull it over you. It’s incredibly lightweight and has a silky, "yoga-pant" softness that feels amazing against your skin, especially if you deal with night sweats or hot flashes. It works so well that it can actually feel too cold if you have the AC or a fan blasting directly on it. Because the material is a synthetic nylon-spandex blend, it doesn't have that "crisp" feel of a linen sheet; it’s much more slinky and smooth. Also, it’s double-sided—the "ice" side is for those sweltering summer nights, while the 100% cotton side is for when you want something a bit more neutral. Just a heads-up: to keep that "instant chill" effect, you should always air dry it or use a very low heat setting, as high dryer heat can damage the cooling fibers!

Super soft and genuinely cooling

This is quite weighty for a blanket although in fairness I have got the largest size so it can cover my king size bed with a bit to spare. The fabric really is soft to the touch and the overall quality looks nice with stitching all over the blanket to help keep the filling in place and nice piping on the edges. It’s a lovely colour which I’d say is a champagne shade so the creamy side of beige and a nice neutral. I was unsure about the cooling side of this however it genuinely does feel cool to touch and when I’ve tried it my temperature does feel to have cooled a little although after a while it’s not quite as noticeable as your temperature has settled a little - it kind of reminds me of when you go swimming and initially it’s really cold but then you acclimatise just not as extreme in terms of temperature drop. I wondered from the description if this would be a bit like a thin quilt and although it’s lightly filled it doesn’t have the stiffness that you get with a quilt as it drapes really nicely with plenty of movement. Although it’s weighty overall when it’s over you the weight distributes nicely so it doesn’t feel heavy but if you like the feeling of having bedcovers even in warm weather this offers that. I’ve not washed it but it does state it’s machine washable and line dry.

Incredibly effective cooling duvet-like blanket.

This is one of those items that you might find hard to comprehend how it does what it does, but can't argue on its effectiveness. It' feels a bit like a thin, lightweight duvet, but somehow the combination of the outer material and the lightness of the filling work together to wick moisture/heat away. The large surface area then dissipates that in a way that's surprisingly effective. It feels to me as if, even when I may have been a bit sweaty, this dries out quickly and airs out at the same time. Washing is quick and it dries quickly too, which make it extremely easy to maintain. Even the cool blue colour gives a sense of cool calmness. I'd say that this was worth literally every penny. It's unusual to find something that does exactly what it claims, but this is one of those things.

Perfect for summer nights

Cooling blankets really do work, I love them. This blanket is really nice and cool, breathable, soft and even though it’s quite lightweight it makes you feel wrapped up and snug (which is what I like when sleeping). It’s thicker than other cooling blankets I’ve had, it’s double layered with a little bit of padding that is stitched throughout the blanket so its doesn’t turn inside out on itself (very much like an extremely think duvet). It’s lovely and soft to the touch, made from a mixture of nylon and elastane. I ordered the double size for our super king size bed (my husband doesn’t use or need a cooling blanket), and it’s ideal for me. No overheating, not too cold and definitely not too hot. It comes in a few colour and size options to suit everyone, and is excellent quality. Not the cheapest on the market, but definitely worth the money. It washes and dries well, I did a cool wash and dried it over the clothes maiden.

A real gem of a cooling blanket, actually does som

I ordered this Bedsure cooling blanket with fairly low expectations, as I’ve tried similar “cooling” products before and not noticed much difference. However, this one has actually been a good surprise, and a real find. After a few nights of use, both my partner and I have noticed a small but definitely noticeable cooling effect. It’s not dramatic or cold to the touch in an extreme way, but it does help take the edge off warmer nights, which makes it easier to get comfortable and fall asleep. First impressions are very good. The blanket looks smart and well-finished, and it has a really nice lightweight feel. It doesn’t feel heavy or restrictive, which is exactly what you want from a summer blanket. The size (240 x 220 cm) is generous as well, easily covering the bed without any issues. The fabric feels very soft and smooth against the skin (or even over bed clothes), and there’s a slightly silky quality to it that adds to the overall comfort. Combined with the lighter weight, it creates a much more pleasant sleeping experience, especially if you tend to overheat at night. In terms of build quality, it feels well made, with neat stitching and a finish that suggests it should hold up well over time with regular use. Price-wise, it sits more in the mid-range, but based on how it performs, I think it feels justified. There are cheaper options out there, (but ones I’ve tried simply did nothing) but this strikes a good balance between comfort, quality, and that subtle cooling effect. Pros: • Noticeable (if subtle) cooling effect • Lightweight and comfortable for summer use • Very soft, smooth fabric • Generous size for full bed coverage • Good build quality and finish Cons: • Cooling effect is mild rather than dramatic Overall: A genuinely comfortable and effective summer blanket that delivers a subtle cooling benefit without compromising on softness or feel. It exceeded my expectations and has made warmer nights noticeably more comfortable.

Initially skeptical but the only blanket we use du

I was initially skeptical with the 4 star reviews but this blanket is thick but feels SIGNIFICANTLY lightweight, suitable for people that like to sleep This might also be the softest and smoothest blanket I've had. It has a luxury silky feel. You need to flip it over after one side gets warm. It's one of those must haves during heatwaves when you need a 5% improvement in sleep.
