Such a cosy bed for my spaniel. The matress takes a full 24hrs to fully get to size but upon opening the packet it grew immediately. The cover was really easy to get on with a handy zip making washing it very simple and quick. The orthopedic nature of this dog bed is very appealing to my spaniel. He is always very comfy on his bed, loves sleeping on it and resting on it. The matress has this ridged shape that is really nice to lie on and it's very breathable. The memory foam keeps its shape and hasn't shown any signs of wear or dipping. The outer cover is grey and super soft. My dog loves his bed. 5*s

For the price (£22 usually, and £17.60 with a voucher right now) this is a great dog bed. What you receive is a cover, and a memory-foam-like mattress packaged as a roll. The cover is of a decent quality, with overlocked seams, a kind of wide corduroy top, and a non-slip bottom. The sides are neatly made with piping on the top seam, and the tough fabric sides continue a little way onto the bottom of the bed, which helps the fit of the cover appear neat and tidy. Putting the mattress inside the cover was easy enough, the cover opens fully on two sides, so you can lay the mattress flat and slide it in to the far corner, then zip it up. Once assembled, the mattress will take a little while to fully expand from its vaccuum-packed state. The instructions say this can take between 24 and 72 hours, but in my experience it was good enough to start using after about 20 minutes. There was a slight ridge in the middle of the mattress (see my photos) due to the way it is packaged, but that was also fine after the initial 20 minutes. All materials used in the cover are soft and comfortable to touch while still feeling durable. My dogs love to chew, but the width of the sides, along with the slightly more durable-feeling side wall material (like an outdoor sofa) have meant the occasional nibble hasn't caused any issues. The cover is also easy to remove for laundry, and flexible enough that it's easy to put in a washing machine. The only slight concern I'd have with laundry is the leather-like label on one side of the cover, but even if that reacts badly over time it's not going to affect the usability of the bed. Most importantly, both my dogs love this thing, and can often be seen either laying on top of it, trying to hide toys underneath, or laying half-on, half off with their legs in the air (a favourite pastime of theirs). The size I picked up (89x56x7cm) fits neatly in front of a pair of patio-style doors, their favourite place to people-watch (and bark at cats). It's a good dog bed that my dogs enjoy, and it's going to last a good amount of time. Recommended.

Arrived as described, as pictured, safe and sound. I’ve been looking for an orthopaedic dog bed for my older dogs and this one ticks all of the boxes. It’s a large enough size for my Border Collie and my Jack Russell loves the space to sprawl out. The cushion has a wavy construction that I’ve not seen before and the dogs seems more than comfortable lying on it. Even my puppy loves it. The cover has a nice soft and fluffy top with a non-slip bottom, ideal if you have laminate or hardwood floors. It’s not waterproof unfortunately but the cover can be easily removed for washing with a zip fastening that opens on 2 sides so taking the cushion in and out couldn’t be easier. Recommended.

I think this is a basic good value mat with medium support, it’s lightweight and smart looking, ideal for lounging out on or under a basket in a crate, simple to put together, with a removable washable cover for practical care.

The TLDR is that I’m really impressed with this. It came in a tiny packet and I wan’t sure if I’d been sent the wrong thing. But once you open it up, the foam mattress unrolls and starts puffing up. I wasn’t sure if it would take ages to fluff up, and there was a slight chemical smell on opening so I put it in the utility room and left it. When I went back in to check on it half an hour later, the chemical smell was gone and the thing was fully puffed up. Win! The foam has a deep ‘egg box’ pattern and the zip-on cover has a furry texture on the top and a textured ‘grippy’ base. When placed together the top looks flat, but the peaks on the foam provide support through the cover. I guess this is what the listing means by ‘orthopaedic’, but whether this is actually a medical thing for animals I can’t say – it just seems to be a comfy bed to me. I have one old and creaky cat and two younger ones. They all had a go on it within the first few hours and clearly found it worthy of their time. So overall, this is a strong win. The cover looks easy to clean, but I’m not sure if the foam underneath is washable, and I think it would be best to make sure there are no ‘accidents’ as the foam seems to be the type that would soak up stray liquids. But other than that, it’s a bed: put it on your floor, put your animal on it. Job done.

Solid build and clearly comfortable for the dog. Holds its shape well, gives good support and fits in to my dogs crate. Easy to clean the cover and refit it back, which helps a lot. Only downside is I wish the material was a bit thicker so dirt wouldn’t sometimes seep through to the foam underneath, since the foam itself isn’t washable. I have bought much bigger similiar products for the same price (stairs, etc) they all appear to be the same. Expensive for what they are but durable so good value.

Soft plush cover and good comfy foam cushion. It's not the thickest of foam but it does carry weight well & jasper is happy with it (always sleeping on it) allow it to expand overnight.

Great value, bit small for a big boxer but he still likes it for a hallway bed.
